Cancellation guide

How to cancel Terminal: find the right agreement

Terminal (withterminal.com) describes itself as telematics data infrastructure, not a direct ELD subscription. Its public website terms do not establish a customer ELD notice period, early-exit charge or device-return fee. Do not cancel the wrong service: check which company bills your ELD.

What the public terms do—and don't—say

ELD cancellation notice
Not stated in Terminal's public website terms.
Early-exit fee
No fleet ELD fee schedule published there. Your provider's signed agreement governs.
Hardware return
Not covered as a fleet ELD return policy in those terms.

Terminal's Terms of Service (reviewed September 22, 2026) address use of its website and Terminal's right to suspend access. That is not a customer cancellation clause for an ELD plan. Terminal is not TT ELD; if your invoice says TT ELD, see the TT ELD guide and verify your own agreement.

Before you switch

  1. Check the merchant and product name on your ELD invoice, then locate that provider's signed order form.
  2. Ask that provider in writing for the notice deadline, final invoice, hardware obligations and effective cancellation date.
  3. Save written confirmation and export at least six months of logs and supporting records before access ends.
  4. Set up your replacement ELD before shutting off the old one, and update your in-cab paperwork.

ELD Hub is $15 per truck per month, month-to-month, with a 14-day free trial. PT-30 and IOSiX hardware cost $150 each with free shipping; compatible devices you already own may be re-registered after a serial check.
